That’s why we’re committed to making returns and exchanges as simple and seamless as possible. Whether you’ve ordered online or shopped in-store, our goal is to support you with confidence, transparency, and care throughout your creative journey.

General Return Policy

To ensure a smooth return process, please follow these general guidelines:

  • • Items must be returned in their original condition, with proof of purchase, within 30 days.
  • • Final sale items (listed above) are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • • Refunds are issued in the original payment method whenever possible. In specific cases, a gift card or store credit may be provided.

Orders Shipped to Your Address

If your order was shipped to your home and you need to return or exchange it, please contact our Customer Support Team within 30 days of receiving your item:

Route Shipping Insurance: If you purchased Route Shipping Insurance, you can quickly resolve issues such as damage, loss, or theft. Visit Route’s support page for more information.

If you did not purchase insurance, we will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue. Customers are expected to assist with the carrier’s investigation.

Orders Picked Up or Purchased In-Store

Returns and exchanges for items purchased in-store or picked up at a location follow the same 30-day policy. Simply bring the item back to the store with proof of purchase. If the item was purchased online for in-store pickup, it’s considered an in-store purchase for returns and exchanges.

For shipped orders placed in-store, follow the instructions for “Orders Shipped to Your Address.”

Refund Methods

  • • Original Payment Method: Refunds are processed back to the same credit/debit card, or cash if applicable.
  • • Gift Cards/Store Credit: If the original payment method is unavailable, a gift card or store credit will be issued. Gift receipts are refunded as store credit.

Shipping Returns & Exchanges

For items being returned by mail, contact the Customer Support Team to receive a Return Authorization Number. Follow these steps:

  1. Securely package the item and write the Return Authorization Number on the outside.
  2. Ship the parcel via Canada Post Regular Parcel Service to ensure tracking.

If the return is due to a defective or damaged item, we will reimburse your return shipping costs. For returns based on a change of mind, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
